Puffing Billy Running Festival Safety and Compliance Requirements

Puffing Billy Railway (PBR) is committed to providing a positive and safe working environment for all its employees, volunteers, and contractors.  PBR is proudly a Child Safe organisation and is committed to providing positive experiences for children in an environment that’s caring, nurturing and safe, to ensure they are free from the risk of harm and/or actual harm.

As a Rail operator, railway safety is their top priority. PBR must ensure that every passenger, community member, PBR worker, and contractor is safe on the railway. They take this responsibility seriously, and to uphold these standards, SingleTrack Contractors and SingleTrack Event Volunteers are required to follow their policy and procedures.

PBR’s Rail Safety Training video is designed to provide you with crucial knowledge about the potential hazards and safety protocols within their railway environment. This includes detailed instructions on how to safely access the rail corridor. Adhering to these safety measures is essential for protecting not only your own life but also the lives of others around you.

All workers engaged by SingleTrack for the Puffing Billy Running Festival must be aged 18 years and over.
