MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEERS

All volunteers involved in the Puffing Billy Running Festival will be required to:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Hold a Current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC)
  3. Sign the Puffing Billy Railway Rail Safety Briefing acknowledgement by each volunteer.

  4. As a Child-Safe organisation, Puffing Billy Railway requires anyone working onsite to complete a Child Safety induction.

HOW TO SIGN-UP

There’s two ways for individuals and groups to sign-up to volunteer for the Puffing Billy Running Festival. Both individuals and groups are encouraged to join in!

  1. EXISTING PUFFING BILLY RAILWAY VOLUNTEER

If you or your group are already registered on the Puffing Billy Railway Volunteer database, please submit an expression of interest via email to volunteering@pbr.org.au

  1. NON-PUFFING BILLY RAILWAY VOLUNTEER

If you or your group are NOT registered on the Puffing Billy Railway Volunteer database, and only wish to volunteer for this event in the short term, you can sign-up via SingleTrack Events’ iVolunteer portal at https://singletrack.ivolunteer.com/pbrf_2023 or please email race@pbr.org.au
