5KM Family Fun Run
Date: Saturday 12 September 2026
Bib Collection: from 8:30am at the Emerald Lake Park from the Puffing Billy Lakeside Visitor Centre.
Race Briefing: 10:55am
Start time: 11:00am
Start type: Mass start.
Course Cut off: 12noon.
Medals: ALL finishers will receive a medal at the finish line.
Course: Starts and finishes inside Emerald Lake Park at the Puffing Billy Lakeside Visitor Centre.

Age requirements: Participants must be 8 years or older on event day. Participants 15 years and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult on course.
5KM REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
Children aged 15 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult.
If you are a parent or guardian running with a child/ren, please sign up as a 'Family Team' in the 'Teams' area during registration process.
Railway crossings: There are no railway crossings on this course.
RACE BIB INFORMATION
We will be using a disposable chip system that is stuck to the back of your race number or bib.
Bib Colours
- 1.2km Kids Dash: PINK bibs
- 5km Family Fun Run: ORANGE bibs
- 13.5km Classic: GREEN bibs
PRE-EVENT POSTAGE
BIB COLLECTION
1.2km and 5km Bibs will be available to be picked up:
- On the morning of the event from 8:30am until 11:00am noon from the Puffing Billy Lakeside Visitor Centre in Emerald Lake Park. (right next to the start line for the 1.2km and 5km events).
- Please note due to parking constraints there is to be NO bib collection for the 13.5km Classic on the Saturday.
